Meet Kelly
With over 22 years experience in both public and private education from grades K-12, Kelly has worked with a wide variety of students and families. From connecting families with the right supports within the school system, to helping them understand the opportunities that exist for young people from schools, the Ministry of Education and post-secondary institutions.
During her time as a Guidance Counsellor, she supported students as they applied to post-secondary programs locally, across Canada and internationally. Kelly worked with countless families to understand the multitude of options that exist for many students and that there are many pathways to success with many access points. As a Guidance Coordinator for a large public school board, Kelly worked to ensure Ministry-funded programs were accessible to students and utilized by schools to ensure students had rich and engaging experiences that exposed them to new opportunities. As an administrator in both Elementary and Secondary schools, Kelly worked to help make school processes transparent and easily understood by parents and Guardians, helping families be in the driver's seat of advocacy for their child.
Kelly understands the pressures many students and families feel to have it "all figured out" by the time high school graduation rolls around and can help parents and young people capitalize on experiences that all serve to contribute to overall skill development and future goals.
Kelly is an Ontario Certified Teacher with a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration. While Kelly followed the path to leadership completing her Principals' Qualifications courses and taking on administrative positions, her passion has remained being able to connect and help young people. Kelly is a member of the Ontario Secondary Counsellors' Association and is also a freelance instructional designer.

Kelly resides in Burlington with her family but has lived in Toronto, Mississauga and overseas in South Korea.
